Feature request: make timeline scene lengths visible when resizing
Currently you have to zoom in to make small changes to the length of a scene in a SuperScene. This usually pushes the numerical length at the left of the bar out of view so it's impossible to know how long it is (so you need to zoom out and check and then zoom in again). This is a pain. At least mak...

Re: BUG: timeline loop marker can't be made to snap to beats for some BPM
Yes I figured it was the reason. It's almost literally a show-stopper. Restricting to certain tempos when your software supports music is going to cause problems and put customers off, If I were a dev at a lighting control company, I would want to fix this. Sincerely Julian Gold Lead Software Engine...

Feature request: support time signatures in SuperScenes
I write music which often has short transition bars or odd meters (3/4, 7/8...) and it becomes quite difficult to match lights to music if the time ruler doesn't match what the music does. We should be able to add time signature changes to the timeline in musical mode.

BUG: timeline loop marker can't be made to snap to beats for some BPM
Repro: * Create a static scene * Use that to create a Super Scene starting at t=0 * Set the grid mode to (Musical Note) * Set the BPM to 85bpm * Drag the static scene out till it occupies 64 beats (the exact number doesn't matter) * Note the loop marker cannot be positioned exactly on the end of sta...

Feature request: Superscene Timeline Markers
As a creator of a superscene I'd like to be able to add markers to the timeline so that navigating a long timeline is made way easier.

BUG: paste in Super Scenes works unpredictably
When I copy a scene - and worse, multiple scenes - in one or more Super Scene timelines, and paste it, the paste location seems random. Usually the currently selected channel, but not at the time marker which would be the most obvious location. And further, multiple scenes pasted in are deselected s...

In a SuperScene, with multiple scenes in channels selected, when I resize, all the selected scenes should be resized.

BUG: unable to correctly assign FX targets
Repro: * Create an FX that needs targets (eg curve) * Add a second effect to the scene that also requires a target * There is now no way to correctly assign the correct channel to the first effect Desired behaviour Each effect in the chain should have an "assign" button - perhaps like the ...

Feature request: speed sliders on (all) FX
I still haven't a clue how you're meant to adjust the speed of some of the FX. There ought to be a speed slider where appropriate.

Feature request: save / load /copy / paste FX chains
Pretty fundamental - if I create an effect I want to use elsewhere, I'd like to be able to copy / paste or even save / load it because it's a PITA recreating it every time.

Re: Is 5 fundamentally broken?
An update. Had a bit of to-and-fro with the tech supp folk, and have unearthed at least one issue, which they call a "feature" but even if it wasn't a bug (and I think it is), is undocumented. Which is naughty. Here's the issue: as suspected, the effects of clicking a scene button on the l...

Re: Bug: speed setting in scene properties ignored in superscene
Ok just seen in the manual that this is a feature. So then: how are we meant to speed up and slow down effects?
For example the chase, just plays at whatever speed it feels like. There's no speed slider.

Bug: speed setting in scene properties ignored in superscene
Repro: * Create a Color FX (eg Burst) in a scene * in the scene properties increase the speed control * create a super scene from the scene you just made * play back the super scene * the original scene plays back at the original speed If this is a feature, how do we increase the speed of an effect?
