Master intensity problem

Post by Falcetta »

Hi everyone, I'm using these fixtures: "10x40W LED Beam Moving Head Bar" officially, as I have LED bars with corresponding channels. However, I'm facing an issue where the "all" channel on the mixer—essentially the master intensity—doesn't work with that fixture, nor does the blackout function (not even the dedicated one on the fixture).

To make it work, I had to assign the dimmer channel (ch3) as the white color instead of a dimmer. This way, it works, but I can no longer modify that channel.

How can I solve this issue? Thanks a lot!

Hello,

Thanks for raising this thread! I have just checked this file matching this name and I am unable to reproduce any issue. Could you please send over a .dvc file that demonstrates this issue, and also if possible a video showing the exact behaviour? You may need to send this through a file sharing service such as WeTransfer.com or Google Drive.

Kind regards,
Will

hi Will, thanks for your interest, the problem seems to only concern if you use the "marco" channel LED bars (so not using the RGBW channels directly) I noticed that by activating the blackout, it goes to work on these 4 channels but since I use the macros, these channels are already at zero, and the blackout does not work, as well as the dimmer, it goes to work on the 4 channels so same problem, it would be necessary to be able to set that the blackout and master dimmer of the DS5 mixer goes to work on channel 3 (master dimmer of the LED bars), I hope I managed to explain myself
