Hello everyone, I control four moving heads with Daslight 5.
I have the following problem. I have saved a position for the drum indicator.
Now I have saved four scenes (Drums Fast, Drums Medium, Drums Slow, Drums very Slow) where the moving heads move towards the drummer at different speeds. Since the stage is not always exactly the same size, I have to change the position in all four scenes before each show.
Is there another solution? My idea would be to save a scene with the position that the other four scenes access at different speeds.

Re: Position speed
I can't test it right now, but you could try:
New bank:
Scene 1 = Posi Drummer
Scene 2 = starting point
Great scene 1 = Speed 1
Great scene 2 = Speed 2
etc.....
in the super scenes on the first track Posi Drummer, on the second track starting point.
now you can thread track 1. Then play the scene once more, release at the end and jump to Posi Drummer.
You can copy these as often as you want and only change the fade time.
Now you can change the start and end points in the first 2 scenes and it changes them in all super scenes.

Re: Position speed
Hello,
Further to the suggestion made by S.lellwitz, which indeed could work out for you perfectly, you could also consider using Relative Move FX scenes instead of Absolute. For example, if you have a main static 'Drummer' position scene, you can then edit this scene to be correct for the venue and use the other Move FX scenes in Relative mode, so that instead of following exact values in the XY grid- they will now move relative to the static Drummer position scene.
Kind regards,
Will
