Hey,
I was having a problem with the data send to my moving heads while in in stand alone mode.
The positions and lights in edit and live mode where OK, but when testing and using in stand alone mode my moving heads went haywire and even does a reset.
After a lot of trouble-shooting:
placing a DMX-terminator, making a standalone group, buying more dmx-channels etc.. I finally found the problem and solved it.
You cannot have empty DMX-channels between the fixtures. Because what I like to do is when my fixtures are using 18 DMX-channels: I set fixture 1 at 1, fixture 2 at 20, fixture 3 at 40, etc... Just because I don't run a large setup at my gigs....
But if you do this in standalone it doesn't work... The DMX-adresses has to follow up...
@daslight: I know this isn't a big issue, but can this be a fix in a future release???
Thnx
Stand alone mode fix
Re: Stand alone mode fix
Hello,
Thanks for raising this thread! I have seen this problem specifically with a DVC Fun device before, and this should now be fixed in the latest Beta version of the software. Have you tried using this version at all? It can be installed through the top 'Announcement' post on this forum.
If the problem persists using this Beta version, please let us know!
Kind regards,
Will
