grouping of multiple internal LED-gruops (bee eye beam) of one fixture for colour effect

Post by Tim+Lisa »

Hi,

I use a couple moving heads that have internally separated groups of LEDs that can be controlled separately.

Yet with some colour-effetcs (e.g. Rainbow) I would like to control the LEDs of one fixture completely as one (say one colour per fixture).
For example I would like 4 of the same fixture-kind to use a rainbow-colour-effect, while the colour should only differ from one fixture to the other.

Right now I get a rainbow-colour-effect with e. g. 48 beams, as DASLight takes every internal LED-group of one fixture as different beam.

Can I group all LEDs of one fixture temporarily or group by effect ?

Thanx again for your great help !

Hey Tim!

This can be done by holding CMD+Option (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt (Windows), then selecting the beams (either one at a time, or using the multi select drag tool). This also works for selecting beams individually (i.e. hold CMD and select a beam to go up an index value, then hold CMD+Option to retain the same index value as the last beam selected).

Kind regards,
Will
