Springe zu Szenen

Post by rolfrei »

Hallo zusammen

I'm new in the forum
I have already designed some shows for a concert of our village music.
I programming the dimmer and colors in separaten scenes
I call these scenes over Springe in a Cue Scene.
However, not always all scenes activated or turned again
Kens anyone this problem?

Hello,

Thanks for the report! Would you please be able to confirm some more information so that we can look into this for you:

- Can you please attach the .dvc file to this thread so that we can look into this?
- Could you please also send a video demonstrating the problem so we can see exactly what you are seeing?

Perhaps you could send the two files together in a Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. link?

Kind regards,
Will

Hello,

Thanks for sending that over! I believe I understand the issue here...

The way you have set up your project is so that you have some scenes in the 'Cue' bank which do two things:

- Turn on
- Release ALL scenes
- Scene holds for 0.04 seconds
- Jumps to specific other scenes

Now the reason this is not working correctly is that as soon as you activate your 'Cue' scene- all scenes are being released, so some begin to fade out (sometimes over a few seconds). Then, the 'Cue' scene ends and tries to jump to the same scene... However the scene is already 'playing', it's just fading out. This all happens too quickly and perhaps in the wrong order.

There are a few of suggestions I can think of to help with this:

My main recommendation to you would be to use a different method entirely. I have 2 ideas for you to consider here:

- Instead of having a Cue bank with scenes in that trigger other scenes in the project, you could use the 'Touch' window to activate these scenes. Every scene can be mapped to 10 Touch controls, so you can have a single Touch button mapped to trigger multiple scenes, and each scene can be assigned to up to 10 Touch buttons.

Or...

- Instead of having a Cue bank with scenes in that trigger other scenes in the project, you could set up Super Scene timelines. Here you can drag and drop all of the scenes that you want to be played at the same time, then you can loop or stretch them so that they are the correct cycle length.

The alternative method would require you to change how you use Release modes in your project. Setting every Cue scene to release 'All' will likely cause issues, so instead you would need to have each individual scene assigned to a more specific Release mode such as 'Bank', however I can see that sometimes you have multiple scenes in the same bank playing at once- so perhaps this would not be suitable for your project.

I hope this all makes sense and is helpful, if you have any further questions please do let me know!

Kind regards,
Will

The tip with the super scenes is just right for me and solves almost all my problems.

I only have to find a new solution for the moving heads.
I have defined a time of 4 seconds each for slow fade-in and fade-out in the scenes.
These must not rotate so quickly, as they are then hanging on a support with a rope.

However, the time to drop out has no effect if the super scene is interrupted before it expires.

Does anyone have any ideas?

-------------

Gruss
