Superscene - fade between static scenes on movers

Post by markcooper »

Hi

I have got 2 static scenes for my movers - one pointing downstage right and one downstage left. I want it to slowly move between the two.

I know can create a normal scene that will do this, but ideally I want to use a superscene as the normal scenes that feed it are a bit like pallettes, which daslight doesn't seem to use. That way I can create lots of static scenes and reuse them to create sequences with the benefit of it being dynamically linked to the static scenes if I want to make any changes for different venues etc.

Happy to hear of other ways I can achieve the same :D

Thanks

Hello Mark,

I believe (if I understand correctly), this should already be possible using Super Scenes. Simply add both scenes to the timeline, then left click + drag the end/start of each scene to create a fade in/fade out at the desired speed. Now you can adjust the source scene as you please and this will automatically update within the Super Scene, but the fade times will remain set.

Kind regards,
Will
