Currently fixture selection can require an often tedious navigation around the graphical view window. For some fixtures - such as the Bee-Eye Moving Heads I use, they appear as compound entities, making it difficult to figure out what to select. Yes, it is nice to see sub-components, but sometimes I'd just like to navigate to a light fixture without having to make a selection for it without seeing the mess of sub-elements.
Some kind of "select fixture by name" would speed up my workflow.

Hello,
The best way of achieving this usually is to arrange your fixtures into specific Groups, and within those Groups you can set up some Selections. When you press the specific Group, it will select all fixtures within that Group, and when you press a Selection it will select all fixtures within that Selection.
