I have switched from MyDMX3 (Daslight 4) to Daslight 5. In general, I think the new version is great
Unfortunately, I miss some things in the touch view that I used before and are no longer possible.
I always thought it was great that you could
- could adjust the text size,
- could set the text position,
- select the text color separately (regardless of the color of the button),
- text and background image/icon could be used at the same time (currently only one of the two is possible),
- you could determine the size of faders yourself,
- the xy grid displayed the current movements of e.g. moving heads in real time.
For example, I have buttons for static colors with a background (image file) in the corresponding color, where the text “static” was also displayed. Now I have to decide between just the image or just the text (or use Photoshop to create a suitable image, which would be a lot of work if I did it for all buttons.
Perhaps these options will be integrated again with one of the next updates.

ich habe von MyDMX3 / Daslight 4 zu MyDMX5 / Daslight 5 gewechselt. Im Allgemeinen finde ich die neue Version super
Leider vermisse ich in der Touch Ansicht einige Dinge, die ich vorher so genutzt habe, und nun nicht mehr möglich sind.
Ich fand es immer super, dass man
- die Textgröße einstellen konnte,
- die Textposition festlegen konnte,
- die Textfarbe separat wählen konnte (unabhängig von der Farbe der Schaltfläche),
- Text und Hintergrundbild/Symbol gleichzeitig verwendet werden konnte (aktuell geht nur eins von beiden),
- man die Größe von Fadern selbst bestimmen konnte,
- das xy grid in Echtzeit die aktuellen Bewegungen der z.B: Moving Heads angezeigt hat.
Ich habe zum Beispiel Schaltflächen für statische Farben mit einem einfarbigen Hintergrund (Bild-Datei), bei denen ebenfalls der Text "static" angezeigt wurde. Nun muss ich mich zwischen nur dem Bild oder nur dem Text entscheiden (oder per Photoshop ein passendes Bild basteln, was viel Arbeit wäre, wenn ich es für aller Schaltflächen umsetzte.
Vielleicht werden diese Möglichkeiten mit einem der nächsten Updates wieder integriert.
