Hi everyone,
I made my shows in groups like this:
Ledpars - MH Scenes - MH Programs - MH Colors - etc.... (see picture below)
And with each new song of the band I move one step forward in all 8 banks at the same time. To do this, I created a keyboard link (with the "+" key) on the "next" button of each bank.
So I hit the "+" key and all 8 banks move forward 1 step.
Now comes the problem: Most of the time this works perfectly, but every now and then it freaks out. Then suddenly it randomly flies forward several steps, while I only give 1 pulse with the keyboard.
I already used this way of working in DL3 and it always worked fine. It was only in one of the DL5 versions that I noticed that this was sometimes strange. It seems to me that the pulse is not stable or does not appear clear enough in the software. Anyone else having this problem? Or does anyone know how I can solve this?
And no, it's not my keyboard, because the problem is the same with an external keyboard.
thanks in advance

Re: Keyboard mapping freaks out!
Hey,
I do the division roughly like you, in order to start several at the same time, I do it by creating an extra bank with the "song numbers" - in my case simply different scenes that I use the keyboard or midi folder to start.
These are in step mode with one step and lowest time (00.00.04).
This runs once and then I use jump to. In the jump you can then simply select everything you want for this song.
has the advantage that you can simply say I don't like the MH's color and simply change it in the final scene when you jump to it.
I hope that's understandable.
best regards

Oh right...
Which then also means you no longer need 4 times white and 3 times blue in your existing banks, for example for the MHs.
Then all you have to do is program each color for the PAR, diw MHs, etc. and then select them in the song selection bank by jump.
This also gives you the opportunity to easily change the driving mode during a song without changing your programming.

Thanks man! You made my day! It works for me.
This saves me a lot of programming time!
You may come over any time for a cup of coffee or a beer!
