Need help with Art-Net

Hi all,
I'm a freshman to lightning, so I'd appreciate a helping hand in getting Art-Net working.

I own SUSHI-DS and I purchased an ArtNet Universe upgrade and Daslight 5 license. All licenses have been synchronized with my SUSHI. I also own ArtNet -> DMX converter BOTEX NetCon 8.

I set static IP on my PC to match the converter's IP:
  • BOTEX's IP: 2.139.21.57
  • My IP: 2.0.0.1
  • Both subnets are set to: 255.0.0.0

Daslight correctly detects the controller in Devices menu. I also assigned ArtNet Universes to DMX Universes.

I spent hours in config menus and finally decided to run Wireshark to check the communication. And to my surprise I discovered that Daslight is not sending any DMX data over ArtNet protocol. I expected that moving faders in Daslight should trigger some ArtNet messages, but no. The only messages are ArtPoll from Daslight to Controller and ArtPollReply in the other direction. And it doesn't matter if the Use Brodcast option is turned on or off.

Any ideas what should I enable/set to make Daslight send data to my controller?

That sounds exactly like what happens when you don't have an active artnet license OR when you have more universe mappings active than allowed by your license. Looking at your screenshots I'd guess it's the latter. You could try removing all the universes but one and see what happens.

Hi cperian - thanks for your reply.

I wasn't clear enough in my initial message - I apologize. I actually purchased a license for 20 Universes, so I didn't reach the limit (theoretically).

Anyway, I gave it a try, but limiting universes to one doesn't solve the issue.
