Other Midi controllers

Post by nobby99 »

Most DasLight users apparently use the Behringer BCF 2000 for midi control.

Has anybody experience with Native Instruments Maschine?

I have seen this briefly, and the interesting thing was the quick operation and control feedback - the (big!) buttons of the working scenes are illuminated and are more visible than with the BCF. And you do not need external midi editors like BC Manager for the configuration - everything is provided by the manufacturer.

Any feedback?

I have a Maschine I use for music production but not for Daslight as it doesn't have any faders. If you have a lot of scenes to trigger, it can be nice, especially with the 8 groups. Daslight also support MIDI feedback now, so you can see the state of each scene.

Thanks for the information. Yes, I have seen this with live bands, and a number of light groups was triggered when certain music styles were played - makes sense.
