Keyboard to Mouse delay on Windows

Hi there,

On Windows, if I am using the keyboard shortcuts I have assigned to schemes on Live, and try to click on a scene using the mouse, it doesn't start responding to mouse clicks until a second or two after my last keyboard press. On Mac, I can quite happily click whilst using flash scene keyboard shortcuts and select new scenes which is not possible on Windows. This has been a bug in the release Jun and Julys beta version.

Can this be looked into please as its affecting live shows.

Hi Ryan, thanks for your message. Please can you test with the latest Beta (01/08) to see if you still have the same problem? I've tested here in the office and can't seem to replicate. If you're still having problems please PM me your showfile and I can investigate further. Kind regards

Hi there,

I am using the 1st Aug release from the website (Im assuming this is no longer beta) and there is still a one second delay between the last keyboard press and the first click that actually activates a scene. Also, I can't click on a scene whilst tapping out a chase in Live, for example, if Im continuously tapping A S D F to a beat and then want to activate Figure 8 (on the Heads scene group), then the click isn't recognised.

Hi Ryan, thanks for sending the showfile over. I've tested your show and I can see what your saying and also notice a delay when tapping and also trying to use the mouse to start other scenes.

This is a performance issue and so I have passed the details on to the developers so they can investigate and see if they can optimise things. Thanks for pointing this out.
