Look at the top of the page: you'll see:
Warning: filemtime(): Stat failed for ./download/DVC2_beta.exe (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in /var/www/vhosts/www.daslight.com/download.php on line 102
The "Beta" download link is dated 1970 and 404s.

You are right, did not notice that. I normally do not bother with the beta as 9 times out of 10 it seems to be older than the "production" version or is seriously bugged.

Never had a crash, but then I have not used the beta (except for when it was pre-release and I was doing testing) and will not use the beta for live work.
Yes there are things missing at the moment and somethings do not work exactly how they should but I have always found some sort of work around.
I know we have asked for various things to be done and some of the things we have asked for we have been told they will be coming, but some of the things we have asked for they have never said they are going to be implemented. Yes things are taking a bit to long for most peoples liking. It's almost as if the product is still actually a beta product and us users are road testing it so they get the feedback of what is required and some of us are suffering for that more than others.
Don't get me wrong I think the support has gone down hill considerably, but for the price it is still a good product but with the lack of proper support it will become a problem if something drastic happens.
I have also been looking around and bought other software/hardware and have not found anything that is as easy to use as the Daslight software or for a similar price. Also a lot of the so called "professional" software does not come with any form of visualiser. Just take a look at how much it costs to add either WYSIWYG or Capture if they have the interface enabled in the software.

Oh Daslight have excelled themselves now! They send out a newsletter saying they have released a new version of the software, but on the download page, it's the Same Old Same Old.
Well done guys, you know how to make your customers happy!

I thought it was only me who got an email notification of a new version, with supposed colour options for groups etc. then only to discover it does not exist.
I have also tried everything to download all the versions, but it is the same old same old.
Very strange that vianney would send us notification of the long awaited upgrade and not actually put it on their website.
The company is obviously under huge pressure for sales from their new operatives in china, and Plasa must have kept them so busy, no time for upgrades.
At least now I know we are all being fed the same company line........
