Hello!

Does Daslight support Faderunit Hardware like
ETC UNIVERSAL FADER WING 2X20
http://www.thomann.de/at/etc_universal_fader_wing_2x20.htm
or (cheaper)
Behringer B-CONTROL FADER BCF2000
http://www.behringer.com/BCF2000/index.cfm?lang=ENG
:?: :?:

Thanks!

Yes it will work with the behringer fader panel. Not entirely sure it will work with the other though, and to be honest the behringer one is worthwhile as i use one with my daslight gold.

hope that helps

How do you get the faders to work ?
As the midi support is only for triggering a scene to start ?

hi there =)

I use the BCF2000 from behringer for controlling the speed of the move or dimmer. it works great =) no troubles.

for control the speed, just click the right mousebutton and select Link with control. click in the midi box and move the fader.

for trigger a scene, do it in the same way and push the button on the bcf which you want to trigger.

greets

Does not work for me ?

I have DVC2 running, Behringer BCF2000 connected. Right click a scene, select Link with control. Click in the MIDI Input box, press a button on the BCF2000 and nothing.
Enable MIDI Input is turned ON in the Option menu.

What am I doing wrong ?

Do I have to have the BCF2000 in some special mode or something ?
It is set as USB Mode U-1

OK, got it working, needed to update the USB/MIDI drivers with the Behringer ones.

Thanks for the good tip.

The speed control works wonderfully. Nice feature that, much easier than doing it with mouse :)

Only problem I have now is that I have the faders assigned to some dmx channels. Now scenes programmed on those channels do not work :(

So it's either I have MIDI control on these channels and nothing else will work or use them in AUTO mode and then scenes work but then the BCF2000 faders do not.
Well I will not be using the faders to control DMX channels then :(

I can manually adjust the sliders within DVC2 and they stay in MIDI and do not goto LTP which is good or bad depending on your point of view.

Another thing, there is no feedback to the BCF2000 so the sliders do not change position when moved from DVC2 :(

Maybe I am expecting just to much.
