Can you open a new DVC3 created show in DVC2?

Post by darrelletherington »

Hi,
I'm really struggling now with DVC3 tried to stick with it as part of testing but using it for anything live is a real no no right now. I've posted several questions recently and responses seem to be getting very thin on the ground if at all.

Does anyone know if a show created completely in the new Beta can be loaded into current version of DVC2 without any issues? or do I need to start again?

Any news on next beta or a final version, love the product but in desperate need of an update.
Cheers
Darrell.

probably the best method would be to open DVC2 then import all the scenes, remembering tht any jumps or group info will be lost.

That's probably your best bet. DVC3 shows wont be 100% compatible with DVC2 as it has features that DVC2 doesn't.
