Hi there,
I'm trying to link my old Martin set of 4 Robocolor lights to Daslight and nothing seems to work. The lights are controlled internally by a controller and you're meant to be able to plug it into any DMX 512 controller and operate them using it. Nothing seems to work though...
Any ideas??
Thanks
Ben
HMM... I might have just answered my own question... Does it have something to do with needing a Martin DMX-Interface?!?

Hi Dan,
yeah tried all that... I've found the manual for it now. Although it "says" it works in DMX 512 mode, it says in the small print that you need a DMX interface to convert the DMX 512 signal from Daslight into Martin Protocol... Now having trouble finding an interface because it's now discontinued from Martin... Bloody rubbish!!

Hi, i just used my robocolor 4 units in a show and it worked first time with the pin reversal as described by the other poster. if like mine they have been hidden in a cupboard for years try cleaning the dip switches to ensure correct addressing.

extra info
as an extra help.. it may have made a difference it may not. i had my robocolors running off a seperate leg from a dmx splitter. this cud have prevented rogue signalling coming back down the line from my macs and roboscan 812's
