Hello Everyone
Since the last two oder three Daslight 5 Versions there appeared a second Dimmer by a few of my Fixtures.
As an Example by the Eurolite Led Strobe Pro 540 i have a Generic Dimmer and a Dimmer. Do anybody know why this two faders appear? In Daslight 4 i never had this problem.
Thanks for your ideas / explanations.
Greetings from switzerland.
Luca

Re: Generic Dimmer oder Dimmer
Hello Luca,
The difference between the two Dimmer channels appearing is that one is a 'virtual' dimmer (targeting the RGB colour channels to dim the fixture) and the other targets the actual Dimmer channel within the profile.
This is particularly useful if, for example, you have an LED bar with multiple RGB channels and also a Dimmer channel. I've attached a video demonstrating this below. See how the virtual dimmer controls the Red channels, whereas the actual dimmer controls the Dimmer channel.
