Hallo zusammen,
für die SuperScene würde ich mir wunschen, dass man neben den möglichkeiten Dimmer und Phase zu ändern, auch den Speed der Scene ändern kann. Und somit genauer auf Musik anpassen kann.

Re: Vorschlag Super Scene
Hello Leon,
As I understand, this will likely not be possible for Daslight 5 unfortunately. The reason for this is that as the Super Scene works currently, scenes are exactly the length of each cycle- so increasing the speed live would also shorten the length of the scene. There are ways that this could be possible, but it would involve re-working a lot of how the Super Scene engine currently works- so it's a big change.
This is likely something that we would look into in the future, however I do not believe it will be something that would be possible for Daslight 5.
Kind regards,
Will

Re: Vorschlag Super Scene
Hallo,
ist this also the reason why changes of the Dimmer Value and the Speed of a scene are reset when the scene ist put into a Super Scene?
I have been trying for some time to get an FX scene with the values: Dimmer at 30% and Speed at 5 into the Super scene with exactly these parameters. But each time it changes the values to Dimmer 100% and Speed 1 as soon as the scene appears in the Super Scene. However, the original scene retains the changed / desired parameters.
Unfortunately, this changes the character of the scene massively and it does not work as desired within the Super Scene.
(All the 4 Parameters - Dimmer, Speed, Phase, Size are reset.)
Am I doing something wrong - or is there a workaround?
Best regards,
Roland

Re: Vorschlag Super Scene
Hi Roland,
The parameters you have mentioned are known as Live Control Dials. The reason for this is that these are stored externally from the scene and are not part of the actual scene's data, so they are not imported to a Super Scene when the scene is added. That being said, there are ways that this can be achieved:
1) Speed
- Instead of using the Speed dial, use the Duration parameter.
- Alternatively, you can import the scene to the Super Scene, then enable the 'Stretch scene contents when resizing block' function, then drag the scene to the correct speed.
2) Dimmer
- Instead of using the Dimmer dial, set the fixtures Dimmer channel value.
- Alternatively, you can import the scene to the Super Scene, then expand the track with the arrow on the far right side of the track, then adjust the Dimmer automation value.
Kind regards,
Will

Re: Vorschlag Super Scene
