Massive copy/paste issues in timeline

Post by kraimor »

Hi at all,

I have massive copy & paste issues with Daslight 5.0.4.2 on MacOS 14.3.1 in the timeline window.

Grid is activated. For easier explanation I´ve added screenshots.

I want to copy 4 parts (1 bar) and paste them one bar later the positions of every part has a random offset.

Here the original position of the parts:

And here the pasted parts with the random position. Before pasting I´ve double clicked in the track to position the green marker.

It´s very frustrating to program a show with those copy&paste issues.
I also miss a simple copy/paste function via pressing the option key and drag the parts to the new position.

What I´m doing wrong? Or is this a massive bug?

I think it is an old bug in 5.0.4.2.
I can not see this bug in 5.0.5.1.
Perhaps you should update to the latest version. You can install 5.0.5.1 in a different folder, so you can use both versions and compare.
