beam square instead of round

I've got the cameo hydra beam 400 RGWB.
When using this fixture the shape of the beam remains square instead of round. How do I get the beam around in daslight 5
I hope that anybody knows the way how can do this.

Thanks for raising this thread! Within the Setup tab, you should be able to set a round beam shape by right clicking on the fixture, then going to Shape > Round.

I was very happy with your answer and in afternoon I immediately started working on your tip, but unfortunately. In the settings I see that the squares have become neatly round, but the shape of the beam from my fixture is still square.
Do you have any tips on how I can get the beam of my fixture round?

I apologise- I'm not 100% sure I understand the exact description of your issue. Could you please send over an image to demonstrate what it is that you are seeing, and a description or image of what exactly you would like to see instead?

In the bottom part of the screenshot you can see that I turned the square into circles. If I now connect my fixture, the light beam is still square and not round. If my fixture shines like my wall, I don't see a round but a square.
I hope I have made it clear enough now and that you can help me.

As I understand it, do you want your real fixture to have a round beam of light when you change it from square to round in the software?

This is not possible because the shape of your light beam is dictated by the design of your fixture.
