SuperScenes and groups

Post by lordGoldemort »

In a super-scene, how do the groups / banks work? Are they ignored completely? If a superscene triggers a scene in a group that normally terminates other scenes in the group if you click it, does that still happen?

And consequently: do super-scenes obey the same rules of terminating or stacking on other (super) scenes in the bank or elsewhere?

Hello,

When a scene is triggered by a Super Scene, it is separate from the actual scene- so does not follow the same release mode rules. The only release mode rules for a Super Scene are set within the scene advanced properties of the Super Scene itself.

Within the timeline of the Super Scene, the tracks have a priority from top to bottom (track 1 is highest priority, then 2 onwards has a decreasing level of priority). This means that if two scenes are both trying to control the same channels- whichever scene is above the other will take priority. There is no release mode settings within a timeline however, so if for example you have 2 scenes from the same Bank (where if triggered outside of the Super Scene, each scene would release the other- so it's not possible for both to be playing simultaneously)- you can actually have both scenes playing at once within the timeline, providing that they are not both trying to control the same channels.

Kind regards,
Will
