auto generated colors - change/add & auto set icons

Post by UNITevents »

Hello,

I have two questions.
1.) Is it possible to change the auto created Colors / add auto generated colors?

2.) Is it possible to set icons automaticly for those scenes if i add them to the touch view (for example a red circle)?

Hello,

1) Unfortunately this is not currently possible, no. Perhaps auto scenes will be something that we will look to develop in more detail in the future.

2) Again, unfortunately this is not currently possible. The only icons available in Daslight 5 are from the default symbols library, which does not include specific coloured circles. Again, this may be something that we will look to develop further in the future.

Kind regards,
Will

A little addition to this as I was quite impressed when I learned about that function:

You're able to create your own little pictures ("pictograms") with any image editing programme, and use them to your Touch buttons. (TOUCH > EDIT > right-click on the button > Load background image)

That way you could create a visible hint of what it is (colours, effects, functions) and also add some text to it. That's quite helpful to keep the overview with large projects. 💁‍♂️

I'm actually thinking of taking screenshots from my 2D view when a specific scene is in action, or even take pictures from the venue itself (plus some graphical filters added, for better clarity) if that makes an effect visible in a good way. There are several options to handle this.

Hope that helps. 😊
