I'm looking into changing my DMX software. Does Daslight 5 have a timeline type function where you can line up scenes next to music/videos and essentially press play and the scenes happen right when you program them to?

Hello!
Yes, Daslight 5 does indeed have this exact type of functionality in the form of it's 'Super Scene'. A Super Scene essentially allows you to import any of your scenes to a timeline (which can be set to a mins/seconds or beats grid for tempo sync), and you can also add audio files to this in order to synchronise your scenes perfectly to the audio.
