Daslight Remote - Multiple Daslight instances

Hi! We are using Daslight remote on one of our nightclubs. I am maybe changing the light system at our other nightclub also to Daslight 5. Is there an option in the app to change name and possibly set a password on the instances as the different computers are going to be on the same network.

I believe that you can change the name of the Daslight instance (within Daslight itself, not the app). The app will just pick the name that it is given by Daslight when searching for running instances. Unfortunately there is currently no password facility between the remote app and Daslight 5. This was mentioned in another post a while back, and I think someone suggested security based around IP isolation.

I can´t seem to find the option anywhere. I am probably just stupid. Where is the setting?

Actually I think it is me that is the stupid one. Apparently this functionality is not there at the moment. The remote app receives a Daslight instance name, but currently this always contains the string "Daslight".

The DL 5 development team have created a task either to use the computer name, or allow users to set their own, but I should point out that they are currently prioritising bug fixes, so this may not be implemented for some time. Unfortunately very few users have asked for this, so it's a low priority.
