Import from ADJ myDMX

Before Daslight i used ADJ myDMX. Now i wan't to import the Scenes to Daslight, but it doesn't work. I've tried severall Version from Daslight, but all have the same Problem.

I can import the Scenes and the Steps to Daslight, but all the Steps from all Scenes are empty, i mean all the DMX values from all Steps are now on zero, so that the Steps won't work.

Any Idea?

although my dmx is similar to Daslight I do not think the two systems information is compatable.

So you will have to write all your scenes again.

However if you have dmx in on daslight and a separate machine you can record the incoming dmx values.

I think mydmx is a smaller Version of Virtual Controller 2 and the Shows are saved as .dlm File. I can import the Scenes from the dlm File, but the scenes doesn't work.

I also think i've read somewhere that i can import it, but i can't find it now.

I've no DMX in, so can't record the DMX Settings.

the method is to go into editor screen. left hand tab.
then at the top click on tools then import scenes.

find your ADJ file and see if it will open them here.

highlight all the scenes and then click on import this will inclucde them into DVC2.

That's the way i have done this. Daslight import the Scenes and all the Steps, but the Steps are now empty. I mean all DMX values are now zero so the Scenes won't work.

is the patch exactly the same for daslight as it is for ADJ.
this can sometimes show scenes without dmx values.
but when you go in to edit the scenes the values are there.
