Alternating colour effect (carousel)

Hi

I am looking to create an alternating colour effect like the carousel effect in Light Rider (https://www.lightrider.com/). Is there an easy way to do this? As far as I can see, I will have to just manually set the state for each fixture (or each beam.of my battern) and create manual steps, which will be pretty tedious!! I'm sure I am missing something as this is a very common effect and they have it in their other software.

oh my bad, i didnt read that right, can you send a video of the effect you would like with a couple example fixtures
