Hi, I am using DVC2 and I just have a quick question. How do you make it so that each step in a scene is not timed?! I want to manually go to the next step by pressing a key on the keyboard, for example.
I've requested this feature already. Currently: can't be done. Best you can do is bind keys to scenes sequentially (ie 1..0, q-p, a-l) which is not great.
A lie goes half way around the world before the truth gets its pants on.
Hi, I also ask several times by e-mail and during the Frankfurt fair in 2007, wether it´s possible to create a "short-cut" to jump into the next scene. I think it couldn´t be impossible, it must be easy. I think this "short-cut" is an "must-be" for every lightning-software when you have to run a live-concert.
Hopefully a lot of requests will make it possible.
You can jump to the next scene by setting how many times you would like the first scene to loop (or repeat) on Editor mode then under "jump" double click on "none" to change to "scene 2" or whatever scene you want it to jump to.
New to the program and new to the forum. But I have an idea how this could (halfway) work. It depends on the program autohotkey (free program from www. autohotkey.com). With this you can program any key (or key-combination) to send another event. The good thing is you can also get a key to perform a mouse function. So you can send it to a position on the screen and perform a left-mouse-button-press.
You can even combine it with another program (bome midi translator from www.bome.com) which allows you to take midi input and translate that into a keystoke. In this way you should be able to (I have not tried it with VC2, but I have with other programs) control certain functions through hotkeys and even through midi controllers.
