daslight interface with an other program?

HI!

this is my first thread,so: "HELLO, MY NAME IS JOHANNES. I'M 20 YEARS AND COME FROM AUSTRIA."

now you know who I am...
I have a question. I've bought a daslight DVC2 512 INTERFACE.
I can use the DVC-Software without any problems, but I work with GLP LSC3002 for over 2 years now and so I know this software quite good.
The daslight Software is too complictaed for me, although it's better in detail!
my question is:
is there a way to use the GLP/Sun-Lite Software with the daslight DVC2 512 Interface?
I don't want t o change it to a sunlite-interface cause this takes a lot of time.

i hope for a quick answer (want to use the interface on weekend).

Sorry Johannes it is not possible to use the Daslight interface with any other software, as it is also not possible to use a Sunlite interface with any other software.

Tut mir leid es ist nicht moglich die casten mit anderem software zu benutzen, das ist wie die machen ihrem geld.

Ob whol das ist die selber hardware firma.

in the german PA-forum they say it is possible, i only have to delete or change a firmware...
what do you know about this?

but the person that asked the question still did not manage to install new firmware to allow the sunlite box to work as far as I can see.

Der junge hat das aber nicht geschaft so weit wie ich das siehen kann.
Ich glaube immer noch das das nicht moglich ist. Aber ich werde mal eine mail nach Simon B schicken mit das frage.

I read the German topic too. As far as I can read he didn't manage to make it work.

It would probably be the Siudi driver .exe and the firmware update. first two in the list. but I really don't think these will work with Daslight Nicolaudie interfaces.

the firmware update does not run on my computer.
it writes that this is not a "win32-application"
somehow doesn't work!

You can keep on trying forever. It will not work.

The only thing that will work is using the Daslight software with the Daslight interface.

Hey Johannes

You cannot use a Daslight interface with Sunlite(unless you want to do something illegal and hack the firmware which is not advisable as the drivers are changed regularly to stop people from doing this) but if you PM me your serial number I can offer you a crossgrade quote.

What exactly is a crossgrade quote? I understand that this does make it possible to use Sweetlite on a Daslight interface?

Not quite. A cross grade is when we will take your daslight interface back and send you out a sunlite interface with a discount.
