With a lot of experimenting I was able to connect the APC properly with al the sub-menus eventually displayed.
Still experiencing a couple of bugs (see above) which made it difficult to get the job done.

Re: Daslight 5.0.5.1 Mac 15.1 icw Akai APC mini MK2
Hi Will, There seems to be a bug in Daslight. I enable both midi in and midi out for control and notes. See below Schermafbeelding 2024-10-30 om 13.04.19.png But to enable to see the color and brightness submenu you have to select "notes" at the midi-mappings input device. The only proble...

Hi Will, Sorry to keep bothering you with this, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing stupid things here in the settings. Even with selecting the note device as the midi output, I am not able to see the button colors sub-menu. Schermafbeelding 2024-10-29 om 16.54.45.png Schermafbeelding 2024-...

Re: Daslight 5.0.5.1 Mac 15.1 icw Akai APC mini MK2
Hi Will, Thank you for your quick reply. What I did was loading the APCmini mk2 OSX.xml file first. Maybe assigning all of the scenes manually to the AKAI would solve this? I did copy/paste some scenes in the same bank in Daslight, but did not assign a single scene to multiple buttons on the AKAI. D...

Daslight 5.0.5.1 Mac 15.1 icw Akai APC mini MK2
Hi there, There seems to be an issue with the Mac version of Daslight 5.0.5.1. combined with the AKAI APC mini mk2. Sometimes not all of the assigned buttons work. Also the software buttons are divided into 3 (see attachment) and the channels and velocity don't display their color or brightness. Is ...

Turn fixture off when scene is turned off
Hi, I've been using Daslight 4, and nowadays version 5 for quite some time now, but for some reason I am not able to resolve the following (seems easy) issue: When pressing a scene, the attached fixture starts i.e. illuminating and moving, but when I press the scene button again, the fixture just st...

Gradually move DMX fader automatically?
Hi Daslight users. I have a very basic simple question, but somehow I am not experienced enough to get this job done. I want a dmx channel from my laser fixture to gradually move in a certain time (let's say 5 seconds) from value 157 to value 204. 1) I tried accomplish this with the steps, but this ...
