90° Offset Showtec Phantom 50

Post by Winetaster »

Hello DasLighter

I have the following problem:

I got 4 Showtec Phantom 50 and DasLight.
When I stand on the dance floor and the moving heads go into their basic position, they point in my direction and up at the ceiling. (fits so far.

When I run the program that I programmed in DasLight and in which the heads should each move a line (forwards and backwards), they turn 90° away from me and drive from left to right instead of towards and away from me. So I have an offset of 90°.

My question now is how do I teach the heads not to make this 90 ° rotation so that the representation in the program matches that in reality.

I have already looked in the instructions and have tried one or the other without success:

Do I have to mount my headlights offset by 90 ° or is there another solution?
I look forward to your answers!

Hey,

Have you looked into the "invertPan", "invertTilt" features ?

salut !

en haut à gauche : patch , une fois la page de patch ouverte , l'inversion pan / tilt est accessible sur la droite en haut !

( là il n'y a aucun projecteur de défini mais les cases à cocher seront présentes avec une projecteur ! )

Hello,

unfortunately the problem persists. The inversion of pan and tilt in the patch manager could not offset the effect by 90 °.

To explain the situation in more detail, here is a photo:
1. Current position of the headlights.
2. Position how the headlight would have to be attached so that it moves towards the observer with the "Line" effect.

Hey,

Sadly this cannot be done using Daslight4. This is a 90 degrees rotation on the Y axis and is not part of D4's available features.
