DasLight + Ableton SYNC VIDEO for you! THANKS Guys!!

Post by Petr_C64 »

After six months of testing DasLight5 and finding a solution for synchronization between Ableton and lights, I would like to show you my prepared show.
At the same time I would like to thank the creators of this great program, because I have tried almost all available software for editing lights and none of them were so intuitive that I could do something reasonable in them :)
Or maybe it's because I also started out on a Commodore :)

The setup you'll see in the video is as follows, and it's not full, as there will be 2 x 10W animation laser + 2 x 3W star laser + some static lights.

In the video I control :

2x Beam 295W Marslite
3x Wash head 36x18W
6x BeamZ LCB183

It's the first track I had ready in about 5 hours.

During that time I figured out new routines and scenes, so now the work finally has some system.

For synchronization I now use the following software :

DasLight5
3x LoopMidi ( 81 keys * 3 = enough scenes )
Where each loopmidi takes care of his scenes. With one I set the dimmer, the other the colors, the third the positions and scenes.

Ableton Suite 11 ...

Lets fun :)

Ableton and DASLight5 in Action :) !!!

I operate the fog and top lasers manually because there was no time to prepare them.

This was a dress rehearsal of the functionality of a system I had never programmed before.
