Touch screen option being overwritten by a scene

I have created some movement scenes and added them to the touch screen. Also, in the touch screen, i added the colours and gobos ( right click - add control to touch view) .

The problem I am facing is that when I play a movement scene and change for example, the colour in the touch view and then I play another movement scene, the colour turns automatically to white. what can I do so that it keeps the previously selected colour?

Hello,

Thanks for raising this thread! There are a couple of things to check here:

Firstly- this likely means that your movement scenes also contain information such as the Colour for the relevant fixtures (specifically, setting them to white). If you go to the Control window, select one of your movement scenes, then check the Colour feature tab- you will likely see that this is set to White. I would recommend first turning the Colour feature off for all fixtures on all of your movement scenes.

Secondly, it is important that you are in Live mode rather than Edit mode when you start using the Touch view controls. The reason for this is that if you are in Edit mode, then you trigger a move scene, then you use the colour picker to change the colour- this colour will then be stored within the scene (since you are in Edit mode). If you do this whilst in Live mode however, then the colour changes will not be stored in the scene directly- they will instead be stored as a 'Live Edit' which overlays the active scenes.

Kind regards,
Will
