I've installed the newest Daslight Update a couple of days ago and I have noticed that the "Flash Mode" in Scenes is buggy. When you assign the flash mode to a scene, the scene randomly holds its state, making e.g. flashing lights to a beat unusable. I have also tested this on a Mac, which exhibits the same behaviour.
I hope this is a quick fix, because it really does impact lighting control.
Thank you in advance
Windows ver.: 23H2
MacOS: Sequoia 15.2
Daslight Ver.: 5.0.5.2 (24.1205.158.90) from Dec 05 2024 | 1.15.24-30310-GIT:82b9fc6-(Nov 5 2024)
Thanks for the report! I am actually not able to reproduce this. Could you please confirm the following:
1) Does this happen in all projects, or just in specific ones? Could you please compress a .dvc project file that exhibits this behaviour into a .zip folder type so that you can attach it to this thread for me to test.
2) Are you using an external mouse to do this, or a keyboard/MIDI command to trigger the scene, or a built in laptop trackpad? Does the same behaviour occur on different options?

Some users have found that restarting the Daslight application and reassigning the buttons in Touch Mode can resolve the flash mode issue.
Ensure that your MIDI controller is configured to send a "Note On" message when the button is pressed and a "Note Off" message when released. This setup is crucial for flash mode to slither function correctly with MIDI inputs
