Superscene-Midi-Steps

Hello Dear Daslight-Team,
we switched recently from DVC4 to DVC5.
Superscenes and more are great!!

We are 5 Musicians who Play on every event our
songs in not fixed sequence and not using a Click-Track.
We operate our lightshow himself using a Midi-Floarboard,
Daslight Remote on iPad(s) and Onsong with Midi-Commands per Song.

If we will program a Song using SuperScene it would be
helpful to divide a Song into groups like: „Intro“ - „Vers“ -
„Chorus“ by using a STEP on the Midi-Floorboard to jump
to the next step of the song.
Because of our setup it would be inevitable there is one
„Midi-Command“ to step forward for ALL Superscene-Presets.
Perhaps it is helpful to set markers on the timeline of a
Superscene-Preset.

Thank you!!

Hello,

Thanks for raising this topic- Super Scene time markers/cue points are on our ideas list for future versions, however it's quite a big feature to implement- so I can not guarantee if or when specifically this would be implemented unfortunately.

One thing that I would suggest for the meantime is if you set up your Super Scenes by song sections (e.g. have a Super Scene for track A, intro, then another Super Scene for track A verse 1, then another for track A chorus 1, etc.). Each Super Scene can be set up to loop once, then 'Jump to' a specific other scene. This means that you can have the Intro jump to Verse 1, then Chorus, then Verse 2, etc. OR you can have MIDI triggers for each specific Super Scene (which allows you to trigger any specific segment of a track).

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Will

HI Will,
thank you for quick answer..
For this time i will use your suggestion for Supersense triggering for at least a few songs.
More are not possible because of to little footsteps on Midi-floarboard. So I hope you decide
to work on the "markers/Cue Points" in future.

But I have also another problem with superscene:
Whenever I combine scenes triggered on BPM and scenes with fluent moves like Color FX
the Beat of the BPM Scene shifts one quarter note per circle/repetition.
For Example: In the first Loop my BPM Scene Lights blink on time one and three - in the second
look it blinks on time two and four.
When I turn the starting mode to "Pause the scene at the beginning" the BPM Scene runs smoothly
but the color fx scene runs no more fluent.
Do I something wrong? - Unfortunately I can't upload a testfile on this message.

P.S:: Why turns the Prgramm by ending and new start my programmed Wait time per step from 00m00s50
to 00m00s48?

Thank you!!
