Synchronisation Daslight et Logic Pro

Here’s the translation:

Here’s the situation:
I’m a musician in a band, and I’d like to know if it’s possible to create synchronization between Logic Pro and Daslight to sync both software programs using a timecode.
The idea would be to launch an audio sequence in the musicians’ in-ear monitors and simultaneously start a synchronized Daslight scene.
Daslight would then receive all the MTC information…
I tried syncing through a virtual MIDI from Logic.
Daslight does receive the tempo, but it doesn’t start the playback of the scene or pause it either…

Could someone help me out?
Thanks so much!

Hello,

Thanks for raising this post! Unfortunately Daslight does not support MTC at the moment. Perhaps your best option is to set up MIDI triggers instead so that at specific parts during playback from Logic, you can send a MIDI message to Daslight which will allow you to trigger a scene to trigger, pause, play, etc.

Kind regards,
Will

Hi Misterock, since I was in your exact situation, let me explain my workaround.
First of all, if possible, change Logic Pro with another specific software created to manage backing tracks, click, video such as Qlab.
In Daslight create a superscene containing the same audio sequence you will output from Qlab: this will assure all the movements created within the super scene will be synced to the backing track, just be sure to set the same audio interface for both the programs and set "audio" as sync option.
In Qlab set a midi message in order to trigger the super scene as soon as the audio sequence will be played.
This works perfectly with my setup.
