Hey folks!

Need some advice ....

I want to get some sort of controller, I don't really care if its MIDI, USB or even ArtNet, that allows me to control my DL scenes through physical buttons. I'm just sooo sick and tired of using a touch screen, since that always comes with problems. Every single time. Especially if I'm running shows with many scenes.

So, what do you use?

As far as I can tell, the Ayra DigiCon-1 is the only possible option, since that's the only controller that looks at least half way decent. Other hardware, like the Showlite Master Pro, looks pretty sh*tty to be honest ...

So, are there any recommendations from you smart light people out there?

In my opinion the most reliable controller is wireless keyboard.

The only drawback is that it works when the the interface of the Daslight 5 window is being displayed (is visable).

An example:
When you run Rekordbox and DasLight 5 on the same PC and you use Alt+TAB for switching between those two apps you HAVE TO click once with mouse on the Daslight interface to restore the connection on the line Daslight and Wireless keyboard (in my opinion it is a bug).

Eigentlich funktioniert es mit jedem Tablet, wenn Daslight Remote installiert ist.
Wichtig ist ein WLAN Router, der mit einem Mac Filter von allen öffentlich Zugängen ( Handy, Hotspots etc. ) abgeschirmt wird.
Ich kann mit meinem Tablet im 2,4 GHz Netz ca. 25 Meter von der Bühne entfernt sein, oder im 5 GHz Netz ca. 10 Meter.
Ohne Zugriff von Außen habe ich Null Störungen.
Kann ich nur empfehlen.

It actually works with any tablet if Daslight Remote is installed.
It is important to have a WLAN router that is shielded from all public access (mobile phones, hotspots etc.) with a Mac filter.
I can be about 25 metres away from the stage with my tablet on the 2.4 GHz network, or about 10 metres away on the 5 GHz network.
Without outside access, I have zero interference.
I can only recommend it.

probably a completely different situation, but since I run the light show while I play, I use a combination of a Midi Captain footswitch and a 3 key bluetooth wireless kb attached to my bass

I have a Midicon Pro and a few MIDI Craft controllers and love them all!
