Hello

Im coming from Daslight4.
In "Touch" View i had xy grids for moving heads. When they run a movement the actual position will be shown in realtime at the xy grid in "touch" view .

In Daslight5 im missing this. Seems like there is no feedback from the actual PAN/TILT position to the xy grid.

I always loved to see the dots moving Is there a way to bring that back?

Verify that the XY grid is actually enabled in the "Touch" view settings. There might be a toggle or option to turn it on or off.
Make sure the grid size and units are appropriate for your moving heads and the desired level of precision.
If you haven't already, update Daslight 5 to the latest version. Updates often include bug fixes and feature improvements.

Im sorry but i have no idea where to find the "Touch View Options" or a toggle option...
In the settings there is no tab for touch view options. In the Touch View itself there is also no options as far i can see.
Maybe you can send a screenshot?

The XY grid ist associated to the moving heads. I tried different way to add the xy grid (directly via the edit options in touch view mode or in the fixture live mode, edit mode etc. with right click "add to touch view"

Yes, i run the latest version 5.0.5 beta.

Changes i made on the xy grid works, the moving heads move to the position i set.
But when the moving heads run a movement via for example a scene this movement is not shown on the xy grid.

I'm sorry to say this, but there's no option to mirror the movements of your moving heads in the TOUCH mode.
(There are also no specific options for TOUCH as it was mentioned in the post above.)

I will note this down now as a valid customer request, so it will discussed soon.

But realistically speaking, I don't think that this will make its way into DL5. The developers are very eager to fix the last remaning bugs and implement some important features nobody really thought about before the release, but I fear mirrowing the exact position on the TOUCH XZ grid is something we will rather think about adding in the "not-immediate" future - and then together with some similar features people are asking about because of their experience with previous iterations. (Me included btw.)
