How are you meant to speed up or slow down a chaser effect? Shouldn't there be a speed slider? Tried messing with the BPM but that made no difference.

Hi,
did you set the "Driving Mode" of your Chaser FX to "BPM"? The speed should change when you change the BPM.
If the "Driving Mode" is set to "Off" you can use the "Speed knob" to change the speed.

Hi Nikk. The problem with that is that it affects *every* FX in the scene (I have 3 stacked, one for chase, one for move, one for colour), not just the single effect I want.

Hello,
It is unfortunately not possible to set a speed of a single effect within a rack without affecting the other effects in the same rack. The reason for this is that it would be impossible to have an overall scene duration (or at least, scene durations would escalate massively at the slightest change). A scene's duration is the overall time it takes before it loops, so if for example you have a scene with 2 effects (one 5 seconds and one 4 seconds), there would be no perfect 'loop' point until 20 seconds in- so the scene length would be 20 seconds.
That might seem okay but if for example you have one effect at 5 seconds and one at 4.99, then the scene duration would have to be 2495 seconds. If you add a 3rd effect with a different length, then this quickly becomes unmanageable.
The best way of doing this is by creating different scenes for each effect in the rack, then either triggering them all at once, or adding them all to a Super Scene.
Kind regards,
Will
