I would like to reffer to that fix from 5.0.5 beta (Fixed an issue with mapping on boolean FX parameter)

I can assign boolean parameter like ON/OFF ( i.e. Symmetry from curve FX) switch only to the button with preexisted other assignment, NOT to the new created button which hasn't no assigment at all.

Thanks for making this post! I'm actually a little unsure on what specifically you are referring to here, could you possibly create either a short video demonstration or a step-by-step guide to replicating the issue so that I can test this out?

Thanks for sharing! I can indeed see the issue now, though I am not actually able to reproduce this behaviour at the moment... Would you please be able to confirm the following:

- If you create a new empty button- does this behaviour persist?
- Is it only the Symmetry bool that appears for this issue, or is there anything else that behaves the same?
- Could you please zip and attach the project file here, or to my email address [email protected] so that I can test the project file for any unusual issues there?

That behaviour doesn't persist - when I create a new button - that is a good news
Actually I have tested this only for symmetry switch.

I have just checked the project file and I believe that the issue is actually that the button you are trying to trigger is actually an 'image'! I noticed this because when I opened your project file, all of the images are missing- which allowed me to clearly see the difference between all the actual buttons and this function, which is actually an 'image'.
