Scene not trigger after midi signal arrive

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum, I've searched this topic and didn't found it, but if it was already opened somewhere else, I'm sorry.

I have a problem with midi triggering scene.
I have a midi foot control, which is connected to laptop with MIDI-USB adapter. I've already set as midi-in (and also test midi-out).
At this point I've tried the midi whatcher, and signals are coming from the foot controller whenever I reach for a pedal, so everything works and each signals are correctly seen by daslight.
I open the midi mapping and link some pedal signal to some light scenes, everything is good so far.
At this point I close the midi mapping pop-up and try to reach the same pedal, just configured.
From the whatcher signals are still correctly coming and correctly seen by daslight, and on the upper right side I can see that midi signals are coming.

But here is the problem, scene are not triggered.
I've check a thousend times, tryed with different pedals, change MIDI-USB adapter but still same result.
Of course, I'm running the latest 5.0.4.2 Daslight version.
I'm not able to understand if it is some settings related issue, some software bugs or just me getting something wrong, please help

Thank you to everyone who can tell me what to try or check!

Hey, that's actually very unusual.
I work a lot with Midi and don't have any similar problems.

Maybe a few screenshots would be helpful (Midi in/out in the options, midi scene settings, scene settings themselves)

best regards

Hi Cristian,

It seems we have a 'kind of similar' set-up (as a drummer, I trigger >500 scenes per evening with a Boss FS-1-WL foot switch via Roland TD-50X module using its MIDI clock signal into a Windows laptop currently running Daslight 5.0.3.1) without huge issues (ok, once or twice per evening DL likes a re-start when I forget to reset all scenes every now and then to "remind" my fixtures about their tasks, I have to admit ;) ), maybe you want to switch back temporarily to this previous version and give it a try...?

Best,
Ole
