Superscene - individual scene settings ignored

What am I doing wrong...

When I add a scene to a superscene a lot of the settings are ignored - for example:
- The fade up is ignored. I have to set the level in the superscene, but this then "fades from black" (I cannot crossfade)
- The trigger set to BPM and BPM setting is ignored. It'll only use the timing defined of the scene, which unless you create a _really_ long chase means you'll end up with drift

Am I doing something that results in scene settings being ignored in a superscene? I think my only choice is to go back to traditional ways and just create a scene chain using the loop and jump to settings.
