Hi

I have a movement fx with 4 moving heads (circle). I want to edit the effect so two are still following the same movement but two are static in a fixed point.

I have selected the group of two I want to make static, go e to the effect, selected edit and gone to position and tied to move them to the fixed point but it doesn't work.

Please can someone tell me how this is possible? Thanks

That's exactly what S.lellwitz says. If I translate it to english:
Select the effect, select the MHs that should move, press the red fx icon in the selection window at the top right.
Select the 2 static MHs, click on Position and set the static pan tilt.
