When you duplicate a scene in a superscene, you can only position the duplicated scene before the duplicated scene, not after it. If you move the scene to the right, i.e. after the duplicated one, and release the mouse button there, the scene jumps to the left of the duplicated one.

I can't find any problem with the duplicate operation.
Which version of Daslight are you on? Which OS are you on ?
Can you describe me in details how to reproduce it?
You can also send us a video link (using wetransfer for example).
