Hello,

I have a little problem with the saving of midi IN and midi OUT configuration.
I use midiloop to create 2 midi ports, one is named "Entree Daslight" ( midi IN ) and one is named "Sortie Daslight" ( midi OUT ).

In Daslight I see these 2 ports in the midi settings, and I tick "Midi Input" for my input port, and "Midi Output" for my Output port.

These settings are well saved in the _global.ini file :

[MIDI]
IN%20Entree%20Daslight=1
OUT%20Sortie%20Daslight=1

Everything works fine !

But everytime I reopen Daslight, the Midi output is activated on my input port, causing a midi loop. In need to desactivate it everytime I launch the program.

After long trials, I realized that whatever port you use, if you activate Midi input, it activates midi output the next time you open the program.
It does not do this if you activate only midi output.

Is that a normal behaviour of Daslight ?

Hallo nicopoche,

genau dieses Problem habe ich bereits vor dem Update im Mai 2023 als Bug gemeldet, und nach dem Update auch noch 2 mal.
Schade das das Problem für andere nicht so dringend ist. Deshalb brauche ich das neue Update auch nicht zu installieren und muss weiter warten. Vielleicht habe ich ja beim nächsten Update mehr Glück.
Ich bin ein bisschen traurig.
