I use daslight a lot for lives and I find myself using very different techniques than the program was designed for. One of the things that could really add something much stronger and completely different would be to be able to mapping the midi in the FX options. I use a lot just the FX options to change shapes and dynamics in live, however, I can only do it with the mouse. If you could add the possibility of being able to be controlled by midi it would be a giant step forward for the LIVE MOD.

Suggestions:

1. MAPPING MIDI ON FX Photos, ref 01 - the possibility to use the faders on "SIZE X" ,"PARAM", "SIZE Y", etc... could be really insane, being able to warp and form all shapes and visual effects in live.

2. MEMORIZE CHANGES ON FX Memorize in the FX of the scene the changes we make to the effects, for example: when we choose RAINBOW and put only two colors, when we choose BURST and return to RAINBOW the preset returns to the same, without the changes.

both of those would be really cool and really effective doing a sort of VJ integration. And I agree with the color memorization as you thumb through effects to see what you like and reset it by deleting the effect entirely, very nifty.

Please consider this. Being able to map the effect definitions increases the power of the live much more.

wow that would be amazing! I also work more in live and being able to mapping all these buttons would be the next level.

And other suggestion:

in the Mixer panel, be able to mapping MIDI the button on and off the group. Sometimes I need to turn off the effects and I only can do with of the mouse. Example on the images.
