Center position when changing movement limits

Post by Ragverp »

Love the new look and functionality of dashlight 5 and been testing it for a few days now.

! thing seems a little bit annoying, when changing the movement limits of a movinghead the center beam position is also changing. Logically i would expect this to remain the same ? is there a way to make this so it wont change when adjusting the movement limits ?

thx in advance

Hello,

this is a theme and in discussion since one of the first alpha version of D5 and isn't change until now.
Unfortunately, I don't know whether there's a decision on this in the meantime.

Regards,
Stephan

Hello,

I don't understand.
For us the center is the middle of the min limitation and the max limitation.
So when you change the movement limit, it's normal that the center change although ?

How it can be the same ?

I think it is the correct way, that center is the middle between the limitation and not the physical center, becaus it could be possible, that the physical centerposition is outside the limitation. I like it like it is.
