To map a joystick or Gamepad for say moving heads using joystick control to track a target or just for a simple way of positioning fixtures I have to go through two software kits which delay input time to convert them to midi to be used by the software. It would really be nice to have this already integrated in the software like midi devices are and maybe have incremental options for joysticks (up to increase the fader continuously or down continuously to decrease fader).

That would be a nice feature for easy positioning. I don’t think that many people would use this but for the non-professional users it would be nice. I think mobile DJs could use this to make a fast new scene.

in a rig with 128 movers I can use the arrow keys to jump from fixture to fixture and then I have to use my mouse one by one to adjust positions, would be better with something like the Logitech extreme 3D. In grand MA I have the trackball with fixture next and back which is just so much nice for adjusting fixture positions in quantity. IN a church application one person running lights could use the incremental up, down, left, and right to use a mover as a spot.
