Effect Generator not Working on M1 chip

When I add an effect to a scene, it is just be steady and no animation is happening. Also in the curve effect, the little ball will just stay where it is and does not move (see attachements)

Any chance you had the "pause" button checked in the LIVE view ?

Could have been possible that it was on, retried it, now it works!
