Possibility to fade scenes with speed parameter?

hey all, although I have experimented with daslight before, I never really dove into it. with some time on my hands and daslight 5 being released I am jumping back in to get more out of the lighting setup I have.
To start, Id like to have my scene switch from color A to color B. I am looking to control the fadetime with the speed fader, and I was wondering if there is a way to do this?
The closest I've come is to make a 2-step-scene;
step 1 has the RGB color B all off and not enabled
step 2 has the RGB color B all enabled and set
I can now use the speed parameter to control the fade time of the scene, except that whenever I start the scene all the lights go black. the scene is set to loop once, not releasing after finishing.
Would there be a way to still show color A, until Color A is completely faded?
